Throughout the conference we are trying out a few new ideas. These include

• a remixathon
• a pitchfest
• the conference PirateBox
• demos by some folks from Vancouver Hack Space
• the soon-to-be infamous Conference Schwag Re-gift-orama of 2012
• the soon-to-be even MORE infamous #opened12 jamcamp aboard the SS Queen of Diamonds
• various ways for people who can’t attend physically to be involved
